Rudolph "Rudy" Valich

Rudolph "Rudy" Valich, age 64, of Geneva, passed away January 22, 2014. Born September 5, 1949 in Cleveland, he was the son of Josephine L. (Mauer) & Louis J. Valich.
After Rudy graduated from high school, he faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and darts in his spare time.
He is survived by his sister, Josephine (Bill) Grof; brother, Louis J. (Sharon) Valich; nephews, C. J. Valich & John (Jessica) Grof; niece, Dana Valich. He was preceded in death by his life partner, Dorothy "Gerry" Robinson who passed on October 24, 2013; parents; step-father, Charles Kapel.
Friends will be received 10 -11 AM, Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM with Rev. George Kusy of St. Cyprians Catholic Church, Perry, officiating. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery.
