Robert L. Maltby

Robert L. Maltby, age 85 of Geneva, passed away on February 17, 2018 at home. He was born February 2, 1933 to Susie (Eller) and Raymond Maltby in Geneva. On October 6, 1956, Robert married Sandra C. Souers, and they began an adventure that would last 54 years. Sandra made this journey first in 2011, and now they are together again. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in the Korean conflict. He worked at Reliance Electric and retired from True Temper Corp. in Geneva. Robert loved to work around his home, and as a father and grandfather, he is beloved and missed. Robert is survived by his son, Robert (Lori) Maltby, Jr.; granddaughters, Tara (Joe) Burnheimer and Tasha (Mark) Cefferati; and great-grandchildren, Ashtin, Alexis and Hayden. He is preceded in death by his parents and his wonderful wife. Friends will be received at 10 am on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. A funeral service will follow at 11 am, and Rev. Paula Marbury will officiate. Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
