Funeral services for Richard "Dick" W. Lupton, age 63, of Geneva, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sep. 5, 2007, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva.
Mr. Lupton passed away Friday, August 31, 2007, at University Hospitals, Geneva Medical Center in Geneva.
Born July 6, 1944, in Keyser, W.Va., to Vivian (Stevens) and James Robert Lupton Sr., he married Marie Lustig April 13, 1979, in Perry.
He was a member of the VFW posts in both Geneva and Fairport and was a member of the Painesville Fraternal Order of Eagles as well as the Lake County Rod and Gun Club.
Mr. Lupton worked as a machinist for Rockwell Brake, Radix Wire, and Chardon Metals.
Survivors are his wife, Marie of Geneva; daughters, Tracy (Steven) Gortz of Madison, Michelle King of Geneva and Christie (Bob) Fellows-Harness of Painesville; son, Keith King of Madison; grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Sammi, Tanner and Nathan; and sisters, Barbara (Bob) Gibson of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Ruthie (Don) Collins of Pulaski, Va.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Donald and James Lupton Jr.; and granddaughter, Taylor Ann Gortz.
Friends will be received 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Final resting place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
