December 25, 1940 ~ February 18, 2021

Nicholas Stincic, age 80, passed away on February 18, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Nick was born on Christmas Day 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio to Nicholas and Josephine (Ragets) Stincic. He attended Collinwood High School, worked on the docks in Cleveland and was a proud member of Laborers Union #436 at Perry Nuclear Power Plant. He was a talented entrepreneur and established his own Business Stincic Painting for 50 plus years. He retired from University Hospitals Systems as a painter. He was mainly known as “Nick”, he was known to many as “Bozo”, but most of all he was known as “Papa” to his daughters, his son, step-son, eleven grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren. His greatest joy in life was spending time with them and telling them stories of the old neighborhood. He spent most days making his rounds and checking in on his family and friends. He loved bird watching, working in his beautiful yard and gifting his glass Angels to anyone in need. Nick loved watching the Cleveland Cavs and more than anything he loved attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events. He was the most Generous Father, Friend and Neighbor that anyone would be lucky enough to meet. His greatest gift was the time he gave to his loving family. Nick is survived by his brother, Edward Stincic (Maureen); daughter, Kimberly Evans (Richard), daughter, Cheri Kelley; son, Nicholas Stincic; step-son, Ron Gambino (Kathy); former wife, Marybeth Stincic; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, his sister, Marie Carroll; and his beloved wife, Jacci Guarino-Stincic. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com

  1. Kim and family, My deepest condolences of losing your father. I ask our Lord to walk with you and show His grace and love upon you as you walk through the days ahead. Tracy Chapin RDH

  2. Nick was such a kind man. I actually met him through my late husband Gary. The two of them met when we moved out to Madison and they became good friends telling stories of the old days in Collinwood. Later I learned that he was the grandfather of my children's friends. What a wonderful family. I am blessed to have known Nick nd I know he and Gary are up in heaven laughing and telling stories. My sincere sympathies to the family, love you all ❤

  3. We only saw Nick a few times as we would go to Unionville summer market and park at his house. He had the best stories, shared tips on feeding the birds and told my husband how to set up our water feature. Him and Jacki made us feel like family. I will remember how kind he was. Prayers to his family.

  4. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. Nick was a customer of mine at the store and he was the kindest and funniest man. Always seemed to put a smile on your face. Heaven truly gained a special angel. He will be truly missed.

  5. Our deepest sympathy to the Stincic Family. Our hearts go out to all of them. Nicholas Stincic will be missed by the many he has touched in his life.
