Milton H. Nichols, Sr. Age 86 Resident of Madison, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at home. Born November 23, 1922 in Kirtland, Ohio, to Sally (Harris) & Sidney Samuel Nichols, he married Blanche E Ostrander in Tennessee on 5/10/1944 Owned Madison Orchards Served in the U.S. Army during World War II and received the Silver Star and the French Medal of Honor, the Coup De Gras. He was also the co-owner of Hub-Ridge Farm Market and Baileys Restaurant. He was a Madison Township Trustee for 18 years. He is survived by 2 Daughters, Sue (Barry ?Bear?) Goldweber of Madison, OH & Marcia (Peter) Dillon of London, England; 1 Son, Jerry (Candyce) Nichols of Thompson, OH; 7 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, Louise Ellis of Athens, OH & Irene Mee of Maryland He was preceded in death by wife, Blanche in 2008; son, Milton H. Nichols, Jr.; Daughter, Sandy Nichols; Parents; Brother, Jim C. Nichols A memorial service will be held at a later date.
