Mary Ann Bliss

Mary Ann Bliss, age 92, of Madison, passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 7, 1930, the daughter of Jennie (Goss) and Frank Edward McGovern. She married Donald Bliss in Thompson on October 30, 1947. Mary Ann worked for Blue Stone Perennials for 15 years. She enjoyed caring for her family and loved to travel with her husband all over the U.S. and Mexico. She is survived by daughters, June Sharratt of Rogersville, TN, Nancy Gunnoe of Streetsboro, OH; sons, Larry (Carol) Bliss of Woodland Park, CO, Gary (Karen) Bliss of Arvada, CO, Tim Bliss of Buena Vista, CO; grandchildren, David and Suzanne Kne, Lisa, Kelly and Ernie Gunnoe, Donald and Todd Bliss, 17 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her parents; and several brothers and sisters. Friends will be received from 5-7 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2022 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison with a Service to follow at 7 pm. The graveside service will be held at 11 am on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Fairview Memorial Park on River Street in Madison Village.
