Kathryn E. Camp

Kathryn E. Camp, age 93, of Madison passed away Thursday, March 27, 2014 at her residence. She was born on December 10, 1920 in Cleveland the daughter of Anna (Polkow) and James J. Elligott. She married Jay F. Camp on December 6, 1941 in Lakewood. Kathryn was a member of Perry Christian Church since 1949. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Perry Unit #697, from 1950-1990, then transferred to Madison Unit #601 in 1991. Kathryn enjoyed membership in the National Federation of Republican Women, the Frances P. Bolton Republican Women's Club and Perry Kiwainanne's. She is survived by her adopted son and daughter Bob and Sheila Armstrong of Ashtabula; niece, Sally Ann Kraft of Madison; nephew, Paul (Janet) Perse of McComb, MI; several great-nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jay J. Camp in 1988; parents; sisters, Doris Herman, Hazel M. Thompkins and Alice M. Maxwell; brothers, Arthur J. and Raymond Elligott. Friends will be received from 2-5 pm Sunday, March 30, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street in Madison. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, March 31st at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Perry Cemetery in Perry.
