Joyce M. Kalanta

Joyce M. Kalanta, Age 90 passed away January 13, 2019. She was born on September 19, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Martin and Jule (Pisarchick) Janashak. When she was younger she was very active and enjoyed camping, cooking, home meals and desserts. Later in life she appreciated solitary moments shared with her cats. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Allen) Bundy; niece Kathy (Robert) Pilny, her cat Clawdia (Peewee); loving cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Leon; her son Robert Leo Kalanta, her parents; and sister Delores (Janashak) Cebuly. The family would like to send a special thank you to all caregivers and staff from Hospice and Carington Park Nursing home for their unselfish love and care. Family and Friends will be received 10 am to 12 noon Saturday January 26, 2019 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26, River Street, Madison Ohio. A Service will take place immediately following.
