Evelyn Meryl Pollock age 92, of Girard, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 7, 1929 in Wheeler, WV, the daughter of Alton and Rettie (Anderson) Brown.
She married George Elmer Pollock on September 25, 1948 in West Elizabeth, PA.
A graduate of Jefferson High School, Evelyn worked as the assistant manager for Carlisle’s Department Store in Painesville. She had a beautiful voice and served as the choir director and sunday school teacher for the Painesville and Geneva Baptist Churches. She loved to crochet, a good jigsaw puzzle and tending to her beautiful gardens.
She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Klco, Nola (Bill) Wolf; grandchildren, Cory, Tim (Dawn) and Jeff (Heidi); and 8 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Pollock; grandson, Little Eddie Klco; her parents; and brother, Paul Brown.
Friends and family will be received 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway in Geneva. A Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm. Final Resting Place will be Perry Cemetery.

I have the most wonderful memories of our dear family friend Evelyn. Her godly influence is like the ocean liner. The waves of blessings continue to flow in long after the ship is out of sight.
