Cecelia Pearson, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 26, 2024 with family by her side. Cecelia was born July 15, 1930 in Blawnox, PA, the daughter of Isabella (Blaser) and Joseph W. Glaab.

Cecelia was a 1948 graduate of Spencer High School. She was employed as a Production Scheduler for True Temper in Saybrook for 16 years, retiring in 1983. She was active in her Faith and church community, volunteering at Assumption Church and School, until relocating after retirement with her husband, Willis Pearson, to Hudson, Florida. There, Cecelia was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church, was a Eucharistic Minister, and involved in the Women’s Guild. She was also an active member of the Country Village Mobile Home Park community in Hudson.

She is survived by her daughters, Jacqueline (Michael) Meehan, Patricia (Jeffery) Vaughn, Linda (Jim Chambers) Maslanka, and Isabel (Ron Tomasch) Quayle; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Joann Dzopko; and many loved nieces, her nephew, and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis D. Pearson, in 2001; parents; son, Michael Quayle; and sister, Marlene Gifford.

Friends and family will be received from 10:30 – 11:30 am. Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway Road, Geneva Ohio, 44041. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at the Assumption Catholic Church, 30 Lockwood St., Geneva Ohio, at 12 noon. Final Resting Place will be St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Ashtabula.

Cecelia’s family suggests contributions be made to Assumption Catholic Church, or Hospice of the Western Reserve, PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.

    your Mom. The Kropfs & Glaabs were very close neighbors over 15 years
    on North Myers Road from 1946-1962. Oh, the precious memories we
