My condolences to the family and friends mourning the loss of John. He was a man of great candor and had a fantastic sense of humor. He was a life long neighbor and my siblings and I grew up with Derek. He had incredible work ethic and loved his family dearly. My father David Beashau who passed in 2004 worked with John at the Perry Power Plant and was close friend with John. He will be awaiting him in heaven with a frosty beer and surely some razzing. Keeping Arlene, Derek, and Dorothy in our thoughts.

John was a wonderful person to work with (24 yrs+) and enjoy a drink with. Though a avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan I accepted that short coming and always enjoyed his ability to just enjoy life. He was missed during our retirement years and he will be missed in his passing. I offer his family my heart felt condolences. Levi Shearer
