July 5, 1948 ~ October 13, 2021

Yvonne Joy Beach, age 73 passed away October 13, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 5, 1948 in Buckhannon, WV to Kenneth and Mavis (Smith) Casto. Yvonne and Richard spent 41 years building their life together. Yvonne’s smiling face could always be found running the store at Beach Excavating loading mulch and gravel and running circles around people half her age until she retired three years ago. Yvonne was a master of all trades and the hardest worker you’ll ever meet. Yvonne drove dump trucks, built houses, cooked up a storm, tended to farm animals, kept an immaculate home and yard, worked for others, and still always had time for family and friends. Yvonne was the secretary treasurer of Beach Excavating, served as the Accountant for Hines Tractor Sales, Gary Miller Chrysler Plymouth and Skidmore and Shaw. Yvonne was an amazing Mother and Grandmother and family meant everything to her, they will miss her and her loving hugs tremendously. Everybody who met Yvonne loved her, her laugh and smile would light up a room, she was genuine and had a heart of gold. She gave selflessly to others and was always willing to help those in need. When Yvonne was not at work, you would find her busy working in her beautiful gardens, spending time with family or taking rides with Richard through Amish country. She loved to spend winters exploring the lakes, antique shops and flea markets in Florida. Yvonne leaves behind her husband, Richard; children, Kelly (Mark) Jeffords, Gregory (Amy) Barnes, Todd Crim; Step-children, Thomas Beach, David Beach; grandchildren, Thomas, Ryan, Matthew, Chloe, Amanda, Michael, Jennifer, Tyler, Kendra and Chandra; 7 great-grandchildren; mother, Mavis Casto; sisters, Theresa Porter, Gerry (Leo) Kampas; brothers, Larry (Monique) Casto, and Colin (Bonnie) Smith. She was preceded in death by step-daughter, Tracy Beach; father, Kenneth; sister, Linda Daugherty and in-laws Harold and Meada Beach.
