Willie C. Curtis

WILLIE C. CURTIS, age 82, resident of Madison, OH., and formerly of Cleveland, passed away Monday, July 9, 2007 at Mentor Way Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor, OH. Born July 7, 1925 in Humphreys County, TN., to the late Mamie (Brown) and Earl Curtis. Husband of the late Vercha "Billie" Knight; father of Loretta (Roy) Johnson; grandfather of Ashley and Ethan Johnson; brother of Bonnie Spinnie, Estelle (Jerry) Hedge, Myrtle Coker, Lawrence "Ed'' (Ruth) Curtis and the late Emmett Curtis, Christine Curtis and Pearl Palk; brother-in-law of Mildred Curtis; and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Manager of Bearden's Restaurant for 40 years, he liked to garden and work on cars. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, July 11 and also one hour before the service which will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 12 at the Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River St., Madison, OH. Final resting place will be at Fairview Cemetery.
