William "Toby" Thomure

William "Toby" Thomure, age 82 of Geneva, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, January 25, 2015. Born September 4, 1932 in St. Charles, Missouri he was the son of the late William and Hazel (Schrader) Thomure. He married Jane Stewart in Cleveland on October 30, 1974. Toby served proudly in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion in Wickliffe. He had a wonderful sense of humor, making people laugh with his quick wit. A true handyman, Toby could fix just about anything, loved wood working and even built his own home. He is survived by his wife Jane of Geneva; sons: Boyd (Judy) Thomure of San Leon, TX, Jerry (Vicki) Thomure of Geneva, and Richard (Pamela) Thomure of Columbus; grandchildren: John, Zack, Jake, Nikki, Heather, Will, William, and Jenni; great grandchildren: Mackenzie, Tyler, Rylee, and Jayce; brother: Charles (Jean) Thomure and sister: Leona Bextermueller both of Missouri. Toby was preceded in death by his parents and baby sister Dora. Friends will be received from 1-4pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva.
