William O. Brahler, Jr., Age 73, of Perry, OH passed away December 31, 2010 at his home. Born April 6, 1937 in Youngstown, OH to Ruth (Steadman) & William Brahler, Sr. he married Elizabeth Elsasser on June 20, 1964. He was a founding member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry and Friend of Trinity Lutheran Church in Madison. Director of Special Services for Painesville Twp school system. His second career in education was at Lake Erie College in Painesville. First Chief Park Ranger for Lake County Metro Parks. President of Perry Library Board for 25 years. Member of Knights of Columbus and served on the Zoning Appeals Board of Perry Twp. Survived by Wife, Elizabeth Brahler of Perry, OH; Children, William O. (Karen) Brahler, III of Medina, OH & Elisabeth (Kevin) Mortimer of Galena, OH; Grandchildren, Allyson, Kathryn & William Brahler; Jack & Julia Mortimer; Sister, Janet Hogan of Boardman, OH & Many Nieces and Nephews. Preceded in death by: Parents; sister, Mary Jeanne Woolley Friends will be received 2-4:00 pm and 6-8:00 pm on Monday, January 3, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St, Madison, OH 44057. Mass of Christian Burial will take place 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry, OH. Mass of Christian Burial Final Resting Place will be in Perry Cemetery.
