William Lewis Sizemore

William Lewis Sizemore, Sr. age 88 of Madison, passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Rae Ann Skilled Nursing in Geneva.  Born on December 8, 1934 in Maben, WV he was the son of the late Enoch and Minnie (Dunivant) Sizemore. A graduate of Mullens High School in West Virginia William would go on to serve as a U.S. Marine during the Korean Conflict.  He worked for many years as a Licensed Insurance Agent with Prudential and Laborers Local 496 and 310. William is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy (McMillion); his sons, William (Kathy) Sizemore Jr., and Tim (Ann) Sizemore; his daughter, Sherry (William) Wilkin; his grandchildren Rebetha Navarro, Leighanna Sears, Samantha Resop, Michaela Sizemore, Scott Haggerty, William Wilkin, and Ashley Wilkin and nine great grandchildren; and his sister, Hallie Acord. He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings. Private family services will be held at this time. Behm Family Funeral Home of Madison is assisting the family at this time.
