William F Schultz

William F. Schultz, age 87, of Geneva, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2013 at home. Born June 29, 1925 in Madison to Margaret C. (McGuire) & John F. Schultz, he married Mary Ann Bonderia in Geneva on July 3, 1948. He was a retired union representative for District Council #7 of IUE-AFL-CIO and worked for Reliance Electric, retiring in 1976 after 39 years.
William was a 1943 graduate of Madison Memorial High School. He served in the US Navy in the submarine division in The Pacific Theatre. William was a member of the Assumption Catholic Church in Geneva and enjoyed any project, whether it be automotive, carpentry, or electrical work. William was always an avid sports fan and enjoyed supporting his family in their athletic endeavors at Geneva High School. He was a wealth of knowledge and always willing to give his guidance and support. He was always "Tip Top".
He is survived by his daughter, Virginia Ray of Geneva; son, William Schultz of Geneva; daughter-in-law, Barbara Schultz of Geneva; grandchildren, Christopher Quinn, Eric Schultz, Scott (Jillian) Schultz, Mary Quinn, Lisa (Tony) Chin, Damian Schultz, Corey Schultz; and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Schultz; sons, Timothy & Thomas Schultz; parents; brother, Robert Schultz; sister, Margaret Schultz, and son-in-law, Gary Ray.
Friends will be received 6-8 PM, Monday, March 11, 2013, at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
