May 6, 1980 ~ February 7, 2025

William Edward “Will” Oros, age 44, our uniquely special and fiercely loved guy, passed away unexpectedly at his home on February 7, 2025 with his devoted mother and caregivers by his side. Will was preceded in death by his father, William M. “Bill” Oros, his maternal grandparents Edward and Ruth Hocevar, his paternal grandparents Michael and Anna Oros, and aunts and uncles. Will is survived by his mother, Janice Oros (nee Hocevar), his sister Mary Beth Collins (Don), as well as aunts, uncles, and many cousins.

Will lived his early life in Euclid with his family before moving to Ashtabula with his parents almost 8 years ago. He was known for his Will-grins that were spectacular like fireworks! His close bond with his Momma & tireless advocate transcended language.

He enjoyed spending time and doing activities with his caregivers and watching Game Show Network. He especially enjoyed his days at the Skills for Life center with his long-term caregiver, Sierra Sipe, whom he loved & trusted very much. Will was a koosh ball fanatic and always had one on him!
Will also liked to graze throughout the day and had strong preferences and dislikes; his favorite foods were Greek yogurt, Wendy’s chili, chicken patties, pie, and tomato juice.

Will has shed his earthly struggle with intellectual and physical disability and is now at peace in his perfected form, safe in the arms of Jesus.

Will’s family would like to express their gratitude for the many provider agencies and amazing caregivers who have provided services and care for Will throughout his life at his homes in both Cuyahoga County and Ashtabula County, especially and most recently Vitality Supported Living.

  5. My handsome guy Will I’m so happy that I had the opportunity to take care of you. I love your Will grind and I have a picture of you giving me the special grin. You touch a lot of people. You will be missed. All my love to Mom and Mary

  6. All of Will’s staff will truly miss Will. I especially was honored to service such an amazing man and a devoted mother. Will lived a life full of the truest love. The way he looked at me while I read him Charlotte’s Web, and touched all of the pictures, with little Will grins will always be a special memory for me. Will was so helpful getting ready in the mornings and loved being told that! He will forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤️ This obituary is a beautiful tribute to Will, beautifully written.

  7. My thoughts and prayers are with the Oroz family. I have fond memories from Euclid that touched my heart. I am blessed to know them and the love Will taught me while a part of our parish family. My Aunt Jean adored him. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

  8. How fortunate I am,
    Hurdling through space-time
On some speck of rock and dust,
    With billions gone before
    And billions close behind,
To have found the brief, warm moment,
    That rarity, that mathematical improbability,
    To be shared with you
    And in your company.

    Rest easy, Will.

    Sending all our love,
    E.W. and Hannah
