William E. Troy

William E. Troy, 85,Geneva, Ohio, Went to be with his Lord on June 18, 2009. Born June 22, 1923 in Cassville, West Virginia, to Mary Alice (Tennant) & Alva Ray Troy, he married Dorothy Tennant in 1946 in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania Worked at Elkem Metals in Ashtabula, retiring in 1985. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Battle of the Bulge. He was a very active member of Church of Christ in Unionville and loved gardening and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by Wife of 63 years, Dorothy Troy of Geneva; 2 sons, Vernon Troy & Delbert Troy, both of Geneva; Grandchildren, Jennifer Troy of Ashtabula & Shawn Troy of Raleigh, NC Great Grandchildren, Stone, Serenity, & Parker, Brother,James Glenn (Glenda) Troy of Cassville, WV; Sister-in-law, Ann Troy of Cassville, WV. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son, Donald & Brother, George Friends will be received 1-2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 20, 2009, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m. Final Resting Place will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
