William “Billy B” H. Bachmann II

william “billy b” bachmann

March 27, 1961 ~ October 26, 2024

William “Billy B.” H Bachmann II, age 63 was born March 27, 1961, and passed away unexpectedly Saturday October 26, 2024. Let’s be honest, even he was surprised he lived that long.

Billy spent his entire adult life as an autobody technician and he took great pride in his craft. He also spent several years as a little league umpire. He enjoyed drinking Milwaukee’s Best Ice and Sambuca, the man loved to party. Some hobbies he enjoyed was buying vintage furniture and refurbishing it, and he recently started canning. He enjoyed camping and doing yardwork. He loved his oldies and rock music. Regardless of the occasion you would find him in an offensive t-shirt, a bandana, and jeans. If you knew him well, he probably had a nickname for you. He was always down for an adventure and there was typically a wild story behind it. Billy played by his own rules and made no apologies for it. However, he also had the biggest, most generous heart.

Billy is survived by his two daughters “The Bronze Child” Jamie (John) Burdette, “The Golden Child” Ashley (Chris) Sonoski, his Favorite Ex Old Lady LoriAnn Bachmann, grandkids Gavin, Alexis, and Aaron, and his herd of feral cats.
He was preceded in death by his mother Lilian Joyce Hardy, his father William Bachmann, and his best friend and sister Melissa Bowman.

  4. Billy we love you and we’ll miss you.
We were lucky to have you in our lives for so long. It was never a dull moment when you were around. We always had fun even if it was just us talking about canning peppers or sitting out back talking. I’ll miss all the stories you would tell me.

  5. We certainly had some crazy times when we were younger, especially driving around in your cutlass. RIP Bill.

  6. We loved Billy at Ace Hardware. He was a character!! Always made us laugh! Always had a smile and definitely lived by his own rules. Fly high and rest easy! 🦅

  7. We pass through life with the hope to prosper, grow and love and live our life to the fullest. Billy was by far this character. I will always remember him of his witty sarcasm, kindness and laughter. Billy was infectious and I’m thankful to know him, call him my friend and he will be sorely missed by so many who knew him, May you rest in peace my friend.
