Wilda "Anne" Greco

Wilda "Anne" Greco, age 86 of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Kindred Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born July 3, 1927 in Frostburg, MD to Anastasia (Rafferty) & Herman Phillips and married Louis Greco on August 28, 1954 in Frostburg, MD.
Anne was a graduate of Beall High School in Frostburg, MD and she graduated from the cadet program at the Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Cumberland, MD. She did her post-graduate work at the Polyclinic in New York City, studying operating room management. She was an instructor at the Arthur Murray Dance School for several years. Anne was employed at Geneva Memorial Hospital over 35 yeras as an OR Supervisor and retired in 1991. A member of Assumption Church, she was an avid reader and enjoyed baking, especially her infamous cookies. Anne enjoyed her monthly lunches with her retired nurse friends and the many stories and conversations she shared with her grandchildren. She loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary Susan (Bob) Trombulak of Franklin Park, PA & Anne Marie (Johan) Greco-Meinke of Millvale, PA; grandchildren, Mark (Jaclyn) Trombulak of Mars, PA & Marie (Javan) Ring of Ross Twp, PA; great-grandchildren, Roman & Antonio Trombulak; brother, Joseph (Norma) Phillips of Saybrook, OH and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Louis A. Greco; parents; brothers, Glenn H. Phillips, Edward G. "Sonny" Phillips; sisters, M. Jane Fram, Margaret "Susie" Metzler; brothers-in-law, Garner "Skinny" Fram and Gerald Metzler; sister-in-law, Kathleen Phillips.
Friends will be received 2-5 PM, Sunday, November 3, 2013, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Monday, November 4, 2013, at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio. Final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva.
