Wendell ?Windy? Sullivan, age 65, resident of Perry, Ohio, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008, Hospice of The Western Reserve Cleveland in Cleveland, Ohio after a brave battle with cancer.
Born May 27, 1942 in Russel Springs, Kentucky, to Eva (Roy) & Bert Sullivan and married Darlene Tarman in Leroy, Ohio on June 30, 1961
He Worked at the Perry Township Road Dept.
He enjoyed working on lawnmowers. He loved country music and played steel guitar most recently with the ?Fort Huntsburg Band?. After retiring he enjoyed his days helping babysit his youngest granddaughter, Emma ?Papa?s Girl?.
He is survived by Wife Darlene Sullivan of Perry
Daughter Terry (Rick) Swiger of Geneva
Sons Wendell Sullivan, Jr. of Painesville, Robert (Molly) Sullivan of Andover, Michael (Patti) Sullivan of Madison; 7 Grandchildren and
2 Great Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his son, Barry Sullivan and his parents.
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at the Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison. Long time family friend, Rev. Lloyd Banker will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
