It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Wayne D. Reichard, beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend who left us peacefully at age 85, on October 29, 2024. He was born June 11, 1939 in Greenville, PA to Evelyn (Hittle) and William Reichard. Wayne married Lorraine Reichard in Euclid, Ohio on November 1, 1980.

Wayne served his country in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1961. He spent many years working for Caterpillar Tractor, and eventually found his calling as CEO of Technaflow Valve Company based in Vancouver, Washington.

One of Wayne’s life passions was boating on Lake Erie and was a long-time member of Chagrin Lagoons Yacht club, serving on the board as Rear Commodore. After relocating to Washington, Wayne joined the Columbia River Yacht club, and had many fun hours boating on the Columbia and Willamette rivers.

After retiring to Florida, Wayne played golf every chance he could, with his good friends at Prestwick Country Club in Ormond Beach, Florida. He and Lorraine spent many years in Florida, but finally returned home to Ohio to be close to family.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine Reichard; children, Kristine Scouten, Douglas (Kristin) Reichard, Mark (Stacy) Miklaucic, Steven (Jamie) Miklaucic; grandchildren, Claire Dotson, Katherine (Nick) Pollina, Madison Reichard, Alex Miklaucic, Maxx Ufholz, Quinn Burker.
