Funeral services for Wanda M. Williams, 91, of Madison, a homemaker, will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sep. 21, 2007, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes and Crematory, 26 River St., Madison.
Mrs. Williams passed away Monday, Sep. 17, 2007, at home.
Born Nov. 30, 1915, in Emo, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of Adah May (Shaw) and John Edward Shaffer.
Wanda was a very generous and loving person. She loved her flowers and to play board games. She was a wonderful friend to many and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors are her children, Joyce (Ron) Rusnak of Painesville, Jack Williams of Madison, Janice (Charles) Ebbert-Krzic of Madison and June Williams-Webb of Willoughby; eight grandchilden, Gary (Alma) Rusnak, Greg Rusnak, Brandi (Jason) Hitt, Mason Williams, Kristin (Brian) Webb-Hollering, Jared C. Webb, Tina (Stan) Baucher and Chuck (Darcie) Krzic; and 15 great-grandchildren, Frank, Ashly, Pat, Nick, Alex, Zack, Matt, Justin, Cassie, Zachary, Ben, Courtney, Katie, Sam and Will.
Her husband, W. Mason Williams, whom she married in September 1935 in Angola, Ind., died in 1984. Her granddaughter, Rebecca Rusnak; and parents, are also deceased.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The Rev. John H. Hayden of St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Mentor will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery in Conneaut.
The family suggests contributions be made in her name to the Salvation Army, Madison Service Unit, P.O. Box 5847, Cleveland, OH 44101.
