Born November 13, 1923 in Thompson, Ohio to the late Jennie (Warren) & Rudolph Keener
Married Thelma (Swails) in Greenup, Kentucky on June 18, 1949
Memberships and Affiliations: Graduate of Harvey High School in Painesville
He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of WWII and served in the South Pacific on the USS Beale DD471 and was a lifetime member of the Fairport VFW Post 7754. He was an Electrician for Diamond Shamrock for 35 yrs. After Diamond Shamrock shut down he worked for the Mentor School system and then retired after 10 years. He was a charter member of the NEO Model ?A? Club. He loved traveling, camping, hunting, fishing, playing cards and pitching horseshoes. He enjoyed looking out over water and walking in the woods. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends

Friends will be received 3-6:00 pm on Sunday, February 3, 2008 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio
Funeral Service will be 11:00 am on Monday, February 4 at the funeral home with Pastor Dennis Michelson officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Lane Road Cemetery in Perry.
