Walter Earl Rogers, age 84, of Madison, passed away Sunday, November 7, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 11, 1937 in Thompson, the son of Harmon and Audrey (Carson) Rogers.
He had served his county in the United States Air Force, and was a self-employed business man who ran Rogers Towing and owned the Madison Industrial Parkway.
Walter leaves behind his spouse, Mary Anne Rogers; children, Tamie Rogers, Tanya (Michael) Fisher, Kimberly (Dennis) Zobrist; siblings, George (Effie) Rogers, Carson Rogers and Emma McGuire; grandchildren, John and Chris Lyons, Angeline Veasey, Desiree Vantassel, Victor IV and Greg Brown; great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Payton, Mason and Paxton Lyons, Jacob Veasey and Vinny Brown.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Luella Scheve and sister-in-law, Pat Rogers.
Friends will be received, 3-6 pm Friday, November 12, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH. A Graveside Service will be held at 11 am Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery.
