Wallace “Wally” Cook, age 66 of Madison passed away Friday, July 3, 2026. He was born September 15, 1959 in Port Huron, MI the son of Wallace and Virginia (Doherty) Cook.

Wallace worked in sales and marketing for Mill Supply Inc. He was a member of Painesville Assembly of God since 1985 where he was involved in various volunteer work through the years. He also served on the Board for Teen Challenge for several years. Upon retirement he recently became an active member of the YMCA East End Branch, and Pickle Ball; Perry Senior Center.

He enjoyed traveling, nature, motorcycles, music and American muscle cars. He was proud to be an Ohioan from the beautiful State of Michigan. He especially enjoyed time with his family and his grandkids. Known for his kind smile he had the ability to talk with anyone he was fortunate to meet.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Julie; children, Shawn (Jillian) Cook, Kelly (Judah) Tana; grandchildren, Aleena, Desmond and Henry Cook, Min Min Soe (Kallaya and Mika), Zyeisha and Sirichai Tana; sisters, Julie Zimmerman, Sherie Zimmerman and Kathy Hill; brother, Mark Cook and his extended Patterson Family. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Ronald Cook and Steven Cook.

Friends will be received 5-7 pm Thursday, July 16th and 9-11 am Friday, July 17th at Painesville Assembly of God, 10949 Johnnycake Ridge Road in Painesville with a Funeral to take place at 11 am on Friday at the church. Please wear something blue (his favorite color) or something colorful to celebrate his life well lived and the glory he has now entered.

    So sorry for your loss, and for your family’s I know that you will miss Wally terribly, but
    I also know that you are a strong Christian and you trust the Lord and His Word. It will bring comfort and strength when you are hurting. My prayers are with you.
