Voncile Alma Calire

Voncile Alma Calire, Age 82 of Willoughby Hills, Ohio passed away on March 6, 2023, just one day shy of her 83rd birthday.  Born March 7, 1940, in Donalsonville, GA she was the daughter of the late William Genone and Alma (House) Turnage. Voncile was an industrious and dedicated homemaker.  She demonstrated great love, providing wonderful home-cooked meals for her family & friends. “Mama Calire’s” cheesecake was a favorite.   A talented seamstress, she made many of the family’s clothes.  Productive and hardworking, she tended to their very large garden, gathering a bounty of food that she preserved, feeding her family throughout the years. She loved being outdoors and enjoying Jehovah’s creation. Voncile was a faithful, long-time servant of Jehovah God.  She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses at the age of 13.  She loved people and the Bible but her greatest love was sharing and teaching the Bible’s message of hope for the future. She is survived by her loving & caring husband, Charles; they married June 29th,1963 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Sons, Charles Matthew (Jennifer), Carl Orlando (Sandra), Christopher Paul (Kara) , and Courtney Joseph (Bethany) ; grandchildren Charles Matthew II and Caeyden, She was preceded in death by their infant son, Richard Mark. A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 26450 Chardonview Drive, Richmond Heights, OH 44143 at 2:00 p.m on Saturday, March 18th, 2023. The family is grateful for the care she received from Hospice of the Western Reserve. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.
