irginia ?Babe? Nowakowski, age 77, of Geneva, and formerly of Willowick, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2008 At home. She was born April 14, 1931 in Piney Fork, Ohio to Stella & Stanley Burek and married Joseph Nowakowski in Cleveland on March 29, 1959. She was formerly a secretary at White Motor Company A 1949 Graduate of Wheeling High School. Member of Assumption Church. Enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, crocheting, and making candy. She was a caring grandmother. The family would like to thank Virginia?s caregivers, Lynn, Angie and Kathy. She is survived by Husband: Joseph Nowakowski of Geneva; son, Michael (Pamela) Nowakowski of Madison, Matthew (April) Nowakowski of Phoenix, AZ; Daughter, Michelle (Thomas) Dieterich of Madison; 9 Grandchildren, Brother, Walter Burek of Euclid. She was preceded in death by her parents; Brothers, Stanley, Joe, Johnny and Raymond Burek and sister, Clara Edgell There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, Ohio. Fr. Melvin E. Rusnak will be officiating. Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 300 East 185th Street, Cleveland, OH 44119. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio.
