Virginia J. Foljambe

Virginia J. Foljambe, age 94, of Madison passed away April 24, 2015 at Rae Ann in Geneva. She was born August 12, 1920 the daughter of Hazel Emily (nee Pierce) and Howard Wilbur Wright. Virginia married Nathan Paul Foljambe on December 4, 1953. Virginia was a lifelong Madison resident and attended Madison schools until her junior year. She finished high school at Andrews School for girls and was a 1938 graduate. Virginia worked as payroll clerk for 41 years at IRC Fibers. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and Eastern Star – Myrtle Chapter, and Madison Historical Society. Virginia and husband Nate travelled extensively throughout the western United States and were known as "Rock Hounds." She enjoyed knitting and crocheting afghans and baby blankets for gifts. Virginia is survived by cousin Mary (John) Kurila (nee Wright) of Madison and their children Catherine (Robert) Prosser of Columbus OH, Elizabeth (Michael) Mindlin of Long Beach CA, John (Carol) Kurila of Apple Valley MN, and cousin Betty (nee Keener) Webb of Knoxville, TN. Her husband, Nathan, in 1985 and her parents preceded Virginia in death. Friends will be received 12-1pm Saturday May 2, 2015 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison. Funeral service for Virginia will follow at 1pm, officiated by Rev. Bill Alvey. Final Resting Place will be Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
