Violet Raye Vi Compton, age 75, or Perry, OH died Thursday, August 2, 2018 at her home.. She was born December 20, 1942, in Crossville, TN, the daughter of Baxter and Loreda (Parker) Capps.
Violet enjoyed spending time with her dogs, Maggie and Jessie and caring for animals.
She is survived by sons, Dale R. and Jimmy Mark (Barb); 3 grandchildren; brother, Richard Capps; and special friend and caregiver, Peach. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy on July 3, 2018; 3 grandchildren; and a sister, Catherine Winningham.
Family will receive friends Monday, August 6, 2018 from 12-1p.m. at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison, OH. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 1:30 pm at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of The Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.

Vi was a sweet/kind/loving woman. I am blessed to have known her and to have had the opportunity to work with her for many years. May God welcome you home ~ it is time for you to rest, my friend.
Violet was one of the kindest ladies I ever met. she was always a lot of fun. She will be deeply missed. So sorry for the loss of your mom.
