Viola M. Hopkins, 95, of Madison, Ohio died peacefully October 1, 2017 at Rae Ann Geneva.
She was born June 3, 1922 in Royalston, MA had lived most of her life in Madison.
Viola worked most of her life as a registered nurse. She owned and operated the former Madison Village Nursing Home and was honored by the "Woman's Memorial" in Washington DC for work with the Red Cross during WWII. She enjoyed traveling with her husband throughout the country by RV and spent winters in Florida.
Viola is survived by son Roy Bud (Susan) Hopkins of Madison; daughter Serena Parnaby of Barre, MA; three grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Wade Red Hopkins, Sr. in 2013 and two sisters. Private services are being held by her family.

I worked for Mrs. Hopkins at Madison Village Nursing Home in Madison. She was a great boss and lady. She will be missed. Rest in peace Mrs Hopkins.
