Victor A. Quayle

Victor A. Quayle, age 93, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at The Lantern of Saybrook. He was born March 23, 1927 in Footville, OH, to Ivan and Bernice (Potter) Quayle.
Victor served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired from Thompson products where he was a valve press operator. After retirement, Victor and his wife Lois travelled extensively throughout the United States and Canada. He loved Big Band music and dancing with Lois. Victor was a member of the Jefferson American Legion and VFW, and a past member of the Knights of Columbus in Geneva.
He is survived by daughters, Jackie (Michael) Meehan, Patricia (Jeffrey) Vaughn, Linda (Jim Chambers) Maslanka, Isabel (Ron Tomasch) Quayle; step-sons, Joseph (Cindy) Nagy, Robert (Denise) Nagy; grandchildren, J. Michael, Shelly, Vicki, Joseph, Julia, Anne Marie, Kathleen, Michael, John, Bill, Mike, Jessica, B.J., Johnathan, and Jared; 16 great grandchildren; niece, Merry Lou Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois (Schmidt, Nagy); son, Michael Quayle; step-daughter, Louise Nagy Ross; parents; sister, Edna LaCount and her husband, Paul; and brother, John Stewart and his wife, Gertrude.
Graveside service will be Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11 am at East Trumbull Cemetery on Footville-Richmond Road just East of State Route 534, in Trumbull Township. Father Daniel Finnerty of Assumption Catholic Church will preside.
