Veronica "Ronnie" Fade

Veronica "Ronnie" Fade, age 77 of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Tri-Point Medical Center in Concord. Born April 1, 1937 in Saginaw, MI she was the daughter of the late Bernadine (Will) and Eugene Strohmeier. She married Frank C. Fade on October 9, 1954 in Toledo. Ronnie worked for several years at the Geneva Rubber Company in the 1970's and then spent over 10 years in the flower industry, working at Demeter's Flower Shop in Painesville as well as Forget Me Not Florist. She loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter: Sandra (Duane) Breedlove of Painesville; sons: Jeffrey and Andrew Fade of Madison; grandchildren: Jennifer Johnson, Jillanne (Jim) Dougherty, Jeffrey (Lindsey) Fade Jr. and Nicole Breedlove; great grandchildren: Jordan, Kayla, Austin, Lorelei, and Peyton; brother: Philip (Barb) Strohmeier of Florida. Ronnie was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; sister, Coletta Strohmeier; and her parents. The family would also like to thank the nurses and staff at Kindred Lake Med for the love and support. A memorial service for Ronnie will take place at 4pm on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison.
