Vernon E. Wiles

Vernon E. Wiles, age 83, of Madison, passed away at home. He was born August 29, 1924 in Seville, Ohio to Ruth (Burkett) & Clayton Wiles and married Margaret Sedgley in Cleveland on 4/16/1949 He formerly was a foreman at Ohio Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of St. Anne?s Anglican Church. Served in the U. S. Army. Also a member of Telephone Pioneers and the VFW. He is survived by Son, Douglas (Beth) Wiles of Jacksonville, NC; Daughters, Louise I. Wiles of Madison, Deborah A. Wiles of Madison; Grandchild, Clayton T. (Ashley) Wiles of Burgaw, NC; Sister, Virginia R. (late James) Grice of Miamisburg; Brother, Lloyd E. (Gerry) Wiles of Ocala, FL, formerly of Medina; and Several Cousins He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Wiles; his parents, Clayton & Ruth (Burkett) Wiles; brother, Norman Ellis Wiles. Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m. and 7-9:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2008, at St. Anne?s Anglican Church, 5236 Middle Ridge Road, Madison. Officiating will be Rev. Kelly Irish.
