Velma Clevenger

Velma “Tootles” Clevenger, age 85 of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Rae Ann Skilled Nursing & Rehab. She was born August 4, 1938 in Doddridge County, WV to Scott and Florida (Chipps) Hutson. She married Ronald L. Clevenger on March 9, 1957.
Velma worked as a Nurses Aide and as a Lottery Clerk. She enjoyed reading, art, and ceramics and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
She is survived by daughters, Cheryl A. (Alan) Booth, Shawn L. Ferra; sons, Ronald S. (Tracy) Clevenger, Donald E. Clevenger; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Charlotte Brown and Salena Lambeck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Clevenger; son, Dwain A. Clevenger; sisters, Stella Ford, Helen Taylor, and Betty Lackey; grandchildren, Bradley S. Clevenger and Rachel A. Clevenger and her parents.
Friends will be received 5-7 pm April 2, 2024 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison. A Graveside Service will be held 11 am April 3rd at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Rd. in Madison. Online obituary and guest book at www.behmfuneral.com
