Vada M. McCarty

Vada M. McCarty, age 90, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Kirtland Rehabilitation. She was born on June 23, 1931 in a mountain cabin in Carbondale, CO, to Ora Almedia Kimbro and Ira Green and she later married Robert R. McCarty. She is survived by her loving grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; children, Larry McCarty, Gary Collins and Judy Bittner; her parents; 4 brothers and 3 sisters; and her loving companion, Leo the Cat. Friends will be received 2-4 pm, Monday October 18, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison with a Service immediately following at 4 pm.
