Timothy C. Hinz, 57, of Madison, passed away suddenly on Friday, March 30, 2018, in a tragic industrial accident while hard at work.. He was born in Painesville, on July 11, 1960, to Geraldine (ne Toreki) Hinz and Carl (Peggy) Hinz. Tim was married to the love of his life, Jeanette (ne Hilliard) for 28 years. A devoted father, his daughters, Briana (Jeff Floyd) and Brittany (Frank) Wrobleski, were his whole world. His smile was never as big as it was when he was with his granddaughter, Kendra Wrobleski. He will be remembered as a loyal, patient, and selfless man by all who had the privilege to know him. Tim graduated from Riverside High School in Painesville in 1978. Over the course of his lifelong career as a landscaper, he formed great friendships with his coworkers and took pride in mentoring young crewmembers. His mentoring continued on the softball field as one of the most successful fastpitch coaches in NE Ohio. Coach Tim had a great impact on both players and coaches. As a coach, Tim equipped hundreds of female athletes the skills, confidence, and motivation to be successful on and off the field. He most recently coached for Ohio Energy Fastpitch for the past 6 years and was extremely proud of his 16U team. Tim enjoyed watching the Cleveland Indians, boating on Lake Erie, working on cars, and spending quality time with family and friends. In addition to his parents, wife, daughters, and granddaughter, he is survived by his loving family - sisters, Teresa (Matthew) OConnor, Vicki (John) DeJoy, Debbie (Greg) Belle; brothers, Mike Hinz, and Jon (Allison) Hinz; sister-in-law Joanne Yoe; several half and step siblings; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
