Thomas J. Castrilla Sr.

Thomas J. Castrilla, Sr., age 65 of Madison, passed away on October 9, 2018 at his residence. Born August 6, 1953, he was the son of Joyce and Jacob Castrilla. Tom married Carole Romberger on May 17, 1986 in Jefferson, Ohio.
Tom was a selfless, caring, family man with one of the brightest personalities. He had opened his home up to help the less fortunate, given his time to serve God and others, and spent countless days with his grandchildren when they needed him. Up until his last days on earth, he was still cracking jokes that made even the nurses smile. His love and humor are unforgettable, and we will all miss him dearly.
Tom is survived by his wife, Carole Castrilla; sons, Thomas, Jr. (Teresa) Castrilla, Jacob A., II (Nicole) Castrilla and David (Jaci) Castrilla; daughter, Elizabeth (James) Crosby; grandchildren, Arianna Castrilla, Abigail Castrilla, Melody Winchell, Chloe Winchell, Aubree Castrilla, Tristan (Daviree) Gromek, Samuel Crosby, Nadia Crosby, Angelica Crosby, Jordan Brock, Jayden Brock, Jarren Brock, Jaymeson Brock, Jaxon Brock; mother, Joyce Castrilla; sister, Linda (Robert) Slaga; and brother, Gary Castrilla; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Jacob A. Castrilla I; and his brother, Greg Castrilla.
Friends will be received 5-8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. Funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Friday, October 12, 2018 at the funeral home with Pastor Bill McMinn officiating. Final resting place will be Footville Cemetery.

I Remember my cousin as a great family man , Growing up leading by example trying to show us how to conduct our self as Kids.
