Therese Costello

Therese Costello, age 84 of Geneva, passed away July 14, 2024 at Jefferson Healthcare. She was born November 2, 1939 in Uniontown, PA. She was the daughter of the late Wilbur and Eleanor (Donohoe) Reed. She married Robert Costello in Geneva On November 27, 1958 and together they raised 10 children.
Therese was a loyal parishioner at Assumption Catholic Church in Geneva for over 50 years and helped inspire the beginning of Perpetual Adoration. She was also active in the Pro-Life movement in Ashtabula and worked with Birth Care.
She is survived by her children, Robert Costello Jr., Kevin (Cindy Summers) Costello, Joseph (Tiffany Peoples) Costello, James (Sherry) Costello, Patrick Costello, Donald (Tonya) Costello, John Costello; 25 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren; sister, Debbie (Timothy) Hroblak and nephew, Brett Hroblak along with many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Timothy and Thomas “Brother Anthony OSB” Costello; daughter Kathleen Askew.
Friends and family will be received from 5-8 pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main, Street in Geneva. Final Resting Place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon. Dear Costello Family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. You had a beautiful Mother. I was able to meet her and your Father. She has one the best smiles of anyone Ive ever met.. She lived and loved being Catholic. She shared this gift with us. Im so grateful for that. Ill miss her pretty Irish face and charm. Now she is in heaven. She is in peace.
