Terry Lee Ganoe, age 58, passed away October 4, 2021 at home. He was born July 9, 1963 in Madison the son of William and Doris (Mortland) Ganoe.
Terry worked at the Madison Giant Eagle for 23 years. He attended The City Church in Ashtabula where he enjoyed helping others with a true servant’s heart. He was a wonderful man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Doris A. Ganoe; sister Pam (James) Blackwood; fiancé Julia Danyl; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Jay) Ganoe-Swope, Janice (Fernando) Cotts, Jeremy (Karyn) Blackwood and Jason (Elizabeth) Blackwood; 8 great-nephews and 1 great-niece. He was preceded in death by his father, William; brother, James; and sister, Charlotte.
Friends will be received 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison. Service will be 11 am Monday, October 11, 2021 at the funeral home. Final resting place will be Evergreen Cemetery in Painesville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family.

I worked with Terry for 20+ years.. he was always pleasant to work with..always asked how my day was going..An outgoing friendly man..Made many friends with the customers. I will miss seeing him and I’m sure customers will also.

I lost my husband recently & Terry prayed with me in the lobby of Giant Eagle asking that Tom RIP & to give me strength to deal with his death. Terry was a wonderful man & he will be greatly missed by everyone, including customers that didn't know him, for his kindness & contagious smile. May God bless you all at this difficult time & always.
Terry was a wonderful person, he was always cheerful, willing to help load and unload groceries, especially helpful to us “older folks”. Spoke highly and worried about his mother, just a wonderful man. He will be sorely missed especially by the customers at Giant Eagle, the other workers were always happy with him, joking and just being so pleasant!
Terry, Always looked forward to joking with you at Giant Eagle. Great memories working with with you years ago as a Madison Jaycee. Keep them smiling up there; rest in peace.
