Sylvio C. Verdi

Sylvio C. Verdi, age 87 a resident of Perry, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007 at Homestead II Healthcare Center in Painesville, Ohio.
Born January 27, 1920 in Ashtabula, Ohio to Rose (Brudapest) & Louis Verdi.
Married Nancy M. Baruzzi on July 6, 1946 in Cleveland, Ohio.
Worked at a Quality Control Technician at General Electric in Cleveland.
Sylvio served in 43rd Division Band of the United States Army during World War II, (Winged Victory Division). He was a professional clarinet and saxophone player. He played with a number of bands including Stix and Keys. He was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church.
He is survived by his Son Brian (Mary Jo) Verdi of Perry; Daughter Mary (Bob) Verdi-Fletcher of Sagamore Hills; Grandsons Jeremy (Heidi) Verdi & Nick Verdi; her Sister Marie Cimorell of Ashtabula and 2 Brothers Donald Verdi of Cleveland & Joseph (Josephine) Verdi of Highland Heights.
He was preceded in death by his Wife Nancy M. Verdi; Children, Bernadette and Monte Lou and Brothers, Mario & Louis Verdi.
Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9, Monday, October 8th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio
Mass of Christian Burial will be10:00 am Tuesday, October 9th at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry.
Fr. James Patton of St. Cyprian Catholic Church will be officiating.
Final Resting Place will be at Perry Cemetery in Perry.
