Sylvia Jane Culp Antonacci passed away on Wednesday, March 07, 2012 at Tri Point Medical Center, Concord Township, following a brief illness. Born June 1, 1928, in Aberdeen, SD, she married Carl Antonacci on August 14, 1954. She lived in the Geneva and Madison area for over 60 years. Sylvia taught kindergarten in the Geneva School district for over 30 years. She was a published author of a children's poetry book, wrote novels, strung her own necklaces and painted in water colors and oils. She enjoyed playing with Taylor Page, her great-granddaughter, who she was helping to raise after the death of her grandson, Tim Page. Survived by her husband of 57 years, Carl; Daughters, Wendy Antonacci Streets and Susan Antonacci Slater both of Geneva; 3 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; Sister, Phyllis Teplitz of San Rafael, CA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vernon H. Culp of Aberdeen, SD; 3 Sisters, June Culp Zeitner of Rapid City, SD, Eleanor Anderson of Houston, TX and May Hubbell of Rapid City, SD (formerly from Geneva), and grandson, Timothy Page of Geneva, OH. Friends will be received 2-4 PM, Sunday, March 11, at The Behm Family Funeral Homes, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
