Susan Lynn Alexander

Susan Lynn Alexander, age 64, of Madison, OH, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in her home. Born August 23, 1959, in Flint, MI, she was the daughter of the late Joyce Parkinson and James Cowles. An avid lover of animals and the arts, Susan loved to be at home on the “farm” taking care of her beehives, chickens, goats, dogs and ducks. She enjoyed drawing and painting and spending time with her close friends. She worked as a school administrator at various colleges and universities across the greater Cleveland area, helping countless students figure out how to make their education more affordable. She loved her husband, Scott, of 32 years and ardently supported her sons, David and Ryan, in pursuing their own paths in life. She is survived by her husband, Scott Alexander; her two sons, Ryan and David Cunningham; her grandchildren, Felix, Marlowe, A.J., and Lili; her daughters-in-laws, Kaitlin McHale and Angie Germano; and her siblings, Diana, Janet, Julie, and Jimmy. Friends and family will be received 3-7 pm, Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St. Madison Ohio 44057. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm.
