Sue (Swank) Lawson, 67, of Madison went to see God on February 28, 2023. She was born August 23, 1955, in Painesville, Ohio to Roy and Freida Swank (Williams).
She lived in Mentor, Ohio before her move to Madison. She retired from her longtime job at Mill-Rose in Mentor in 2004.
Sue enjoyed quilting and traveling and loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved the Pittsburg Steelers, Nascar, and especially her Mustang.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Billy Lawson; daughter, Tanya Lawson; grandchild, Gage Gaster; sisters, Linda (Bill) Foreman, Margie Brunson, Ruthann (Joe) Zunic; brothers, Stephen Swank and Roy Swank; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Freida; brother, Tom; one niece, and three nephews.
