Stella Stancliff

Stella Stancliff, Age 94, of Geneva, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, her Saviour on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 Geneva Village Retirement Community. Born January 22, 1916 in Cleveland to Matilda (Zakreski) & Joseph Pianowski, she married Carl ?Bus? Stancliff in Ripley, NY on January 4, 1937. Stella is now freed from her fear of thunderstorms. She would want everyone to know her gratefulness for their prayers & support. Stella always remembered those she loved in her own prayers. A great prayer warrior, with strong faith, she was a member of Assumption Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Stella displayed great love and sacrifice for her family. She was a voracious reader and enjoyed baking, Cleveland?s sports teams, and politics. Stella was very proud of her Polish heritage. She is survived by sons, Keith, Norman & Darrell (Sandy) Stancliff all of Geneva; Daughters, Sharon Schultz & Mary (Ansuman) Pal of Saybrook Twp.; 11 Grandchildren; 27 Great-Grandchildren; 14 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; and 13 brothers & sisters. At the family?s request, there will be no visitation. Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main Street, Geneva, OH 44041. Final Resting Place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva, OH. Contributions may be made to Assumption Catholic Church, 594 West Main St., Geneva, OH 44041.
