Stanley Eugene Kaufman

Stanley Eugene Kaufman, age 90, of Madison went to be with our Lord and Savior on May 11th, 2023. Stan was born March the 12th, 1933 on a 'cold' month in Columbus to Irv and Sadie Kaufman. His brother Burton, and parents, predeceased him. Everyone who knew Stan was touched by his gentleness, kindness and caring love of people--including strangers. Some of his favorite activities included listening to “bible” tapes, Christian music and to Brown's games. He loved to go out to lunch and eat 2 cheeseburgers, fries and a diet coke. Stan lived most of his life at the Perry(dise) nursing home and his final months at Cardinal Woods. Stan's lifelong blindness ended the day he passed into the "hands” of our Lord. Yes, he will see the flowers in Heaven, that he always dreamed about. Stanley was blessed by having such kind care givers at Deepwood, Perrydise and recently at Cardinal Woods, who will tell you that Stan Kaufman was amazing. Although Stan outlived many of his friends, Stan made friends quickly and wherever he went. Stan taught many of us one of the most valuable lessons in life, that is how to live a joyful life with so little. A celebration of Stan's life will be 11am, Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Here’s Hope Baptist Church, 6601 Chapel Road, Madison, Ohio 44057.
