Stanley C. Stefancic

Stanley C. Stefancic, Age 80,of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2009 Rae-Ann Geneva surrounded by his loving family. Born November 28, 1929 in Cleveland to Catherine (Lisjak ) & Frank Stefancic, he married Eleanor Peddicord in Lawrenceburg on 5/11/1951. Worked at Lubrizol 15 years, retiring in 1994. Also worked at Daniel Brothers for 25 years in furnace repair. Enjoyed fishing and working in the yard. Enjoyed fishing and working in the yard Stanley and his wife were Foster Parents to 250 children over the past 25 year of which four were adopted. He truly loved his family. He is survived by Wife, Eleanor Stefancic of Geneva; Sons, Robert (Patty) Stefancic of Madison, Paul Stefancic of Cleveland & Tracy Stefancic of Burton; Daughters, Michelle (Paul) Schwarzburg of Corltand & Holly (Frank) Virant of Harpersfield; 14 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Ronald Stefancic of Youngstown, OH. He was preceded in death by Daughter, Linda Temnikar; Parents; Sister, Catherine Sohl and Brother, Frank Stefancic Friends will be received 2-4 & 7-9:00 PM Friday December 18, 2009 at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Saturday December 19, 2009, at the funeral home with Rev. Hank Williams of East Heisley Church of God officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland.
