Stanford Ellington, age 51, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007, at University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center. Born Oct. 8, 1955, in Cleveland, he was a 1975 graduate of Geneva High School, where he participated with the GI?s. He worked as a cook and nursing assistant at Hilltop Support Living, in Madison. Also, he formerly worked at Kenny Kings in Austinburg for 10 years and also at Family Dollar. He played the piano and organ, and enjoyed playing duets with his sister, Zenader. In Warren, Ohio, he was baptized at the Second Baptist Church by the Rev. A.B. Adams. He also loved his Jack Russell Terrier, Jackson. Survivors include his sister, Dr. Zenader (William C.) Anderson, Sr. of Geneva; two nieces, Debbie Lynn Hinson of Euclid and Sharree Lee Anderson of Montville; two nephews, William C. Anderson of Montville and David G. Anderson of Saybrook; two great-nephews, Kevin M. Smith of Euclid and Terrill D. Anderson of Geneva; and two great-nieces, Maria N. Anderson and Taylor Wells, both of Saybrook. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Maude Z. and David Giles; nephew, William C. Anderson; brother, Dwight D. Campbell; and grandfather, Edward Woodfaulk. A Memorial Service will be held 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sep. 4, 2007, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday at the Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the family
