Sonia E. Armstrong

Sonia E. Armstrong, Age 53, of Thompson, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family and friends Born September 17, 1958 in Clarksburg, WV the Daughter of Patty (Shaffer) and Kendall Wilson, Sr., she Married married Dan Armstrong on June 24, 1978 in Madison. Sonia worked at Best Cuts for many years and most recently she was a Cosmetologist at Studio for Hair in Middlefield. She was a member of Lakeside Baptist church in Painesville Township. A giving heart, Sonia was blessed with an amazing smile and heart-warming laugh. She had a passion for her family and loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren. Survived by Husband, Dan Armstrong of Thompson; Children, Heather (Jonathan) Knight of Thompson, Dan Armstrong Jr. of Thompson; Grandchildren, Hunter and Kendall Knight; Parents, Kendall and Patty Wilson of Thompson; Brother, Ken (Sheila) Wilson of Madison; Sister, Barbara (Brian) Ervin of Metamora, MI; Nieces and Nephews, Jacob and Jennifer Ervin, Chris and Nicole Wilson; Lifelong Friend, Dawn (Randy) Moran of Barrackville, WV. She was loved and will be missed by her family and many, many close friends Preceded in death by Her In-Laws, Lloyd and Ethel Armstrong Friends will be received 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 and 10-11 am on Wednesday at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St, Madison, OH 44057. Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Alrie Spargur officiating Funeral Service Final Resting Place Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson In lieu of flowers the family has requested that contributions be made to the Pink Heals Tour, Guardians of the Ribbon, 1939 E. Palo Verde Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85016, an organization that lifted her spirits during her illness.
